Shane Slominski named a senior associate of Tonka Bay Equity Partners
Tonka Bay Equity Partners LLC (“Tonka Bay”) announced that Shane Slominski has joined the firm as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Tonka Bay, Slominski was a manager in the Minneapolis office of the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP (“Deloitte”).
Slominski will help Tonka Bay analyze potential investment opportunities, research industries, perform company valuations, and support portfolio company day-to-day operations. In addition, he will work closely with the management of portfolio companies and will assist Tonka Bay with regulatory reporting required for a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC).
While at Deloitte, Slominski worked with various sized public and private companies, primarily in the manufacturing industry. He served clients in many capacities, including providing audit services, assisting with equity and debt offerings, completing acquisition due diligence, and reviewing required regulatory reporting. Before joining Deloitte in 2002, Slominski spent two years at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Slominski earned his B.B.A degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA).
