Tonka Bay Announces Sale of Q Management
Tonka Bay Equity Partners has completed the sale of Q Management Services (“Q”) to American Dental Partners, a national provider of dental management services. Based in Rochester, New York, Q is a leading provider of practice management services to dental offices in the greater Rochester area.
Tonka Bay led the acquisition of Q in 2012 from the founding dentists and subsequently invested in the team and infrastructure to build a robust management services organization. With an enhanced management team employing new technology and operational improvements, Q is focused on providing quality dental care to an expanding patient base.
The investment in Q was an opportunity for Tonka Bay to leverage its experiences in past healthcare practice management businesses, including sharing best practices and board level expertise. Tonka Bay also previously owned Midwest Dental and is a current investor in AppleWhite Dental and United Skin Specialists.
