Tonka Bay Equity Partners names Ray Torres operating partner – Will pursue acquisitions in plastic packaging
Tonka Bay Equity Partners LLC (“Tonka Bay”) announces that it has named Ray Torres as Operating Partner and will together pursue acquisitions in the plastic packaging market segment.
Ray Torres is the President of Torres and Towers LLC, a joint venture with Zeller Plastik USA focused on the sale and distribution of plastic enclosure products. Mr. Torres is also the President of Towers Innovative Packaging LLC which provides consulting services to the packaging industry. Mr. Torres was formerly the CEO of Silgan Closures and was previously the COO of Zapata International.
Tonka Bay and Torres plan to pursue acquisitions in the plastic packaging industry with EBITDA greater than $2.0 million. Target companies will serve the health and beauty aids, personal care, household consumer goods, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, medical and food industries.
