Kam Kielhorn Promoted to Partner
MINNETONKA, MN (June 23, 2025) — Tonka Bay Equity Partners announced today that Kam Kielhorn has been promoted to Partner at the firm.
Kielhorn joined Tonka Bay in 2015 as an Associate and was promoted to Principal in 2019. In his role at Tonka Bay, he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, governance, and driving growth initiatives within partner companies. Kielhorn has served on the boards of several Tonka Bay partner companies, including Standard Locknut, Orange Tree Employment Screening and Seaway Plastics.

Prior to joining Tonka Bay, Kielhorn was a Manager in the Transaction Advisory practice of Ernst & Young LLP. Kielhorn earned a B.B.A. in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Iowa. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He currently serves on the board of Folds of Honor-Minnesota.
