Shawn Cappello Joins Tonka Bay
MINNETONKA, MN (August 29, 2022) — Tonka Bay Equity Partners LLC (“Tonka Bay”) announced that Shawn Cappello has joined the firm as a Director. In this role, Cappello will assist in the execution of the firm’s overall investment activities.
Prior to joining Tonka Bay, Cappello was a Senior Director of Corporate Development at Albertsons Companies Inc., a leading national grocery retailer. Previously, Cappello was a Vice President at Cerberus Capital Management, an operationally-focused private equity firm. While at Cerberus, Cappello was responsible for all aspects of the private equity investment lifecycle, including buy side and sell side deal execution, and portfolio management. Before Cerberus, Cappello worked at Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, advising global industrial and business services companies.
