Steve Soderling named a principal of Tonka Bay Equity Partners, LLC
Tonka Bay Equity Partners LLC, (“Tonka Bay”) has announced that Stephen B. Soderling has joined the firm as a Principal. Soderling’s qualifications range from equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial and operational advisory work. He will help Tonka Bay originate, structure, analyze and close new investment opportunities and add-on acquisitions for existing portfolio companies. In addition, Soderling will provide strategic oversight, direction and corporate governance to portfolio companies.
Soderling brings more than a decade of merger and acquisition experience to Tonka Bay. Most recently he was at Norwest Equity Partners (“NEP”) where he was involved in originating, structuring, analyzing and closing management buyout, recapitalization and growth equity transactions in the manufacturing, distribution and business service industries. Soderling was a board member of several NEP portfolio companies. Previously, Soderling was with Arthur Andersen, LLP in their Corporate Finance and Corporate Recovery Services divisions.
