Tonka Bay Announces Sale of United Skin Specialists
MINNETONKA, MN (January 9, 2024) — Tonka Bay Equity Partners LLC (“Tonka Bay”) has announced the sale of United Skin Specialists LLC (“USS”) to Schweiger Dermatology Group (“SDG”). Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USS provides practice management services to a variety of well-established dermatology offices in the Midwest.
Tonka Bay partnered with Dr. Brian Zelickson in 2015 to form USS and pursue a medical practice management strategy in dermatology. Tonka Bay was able to leverage its previous healthcare practice management experience, while capitalizing on the extensive professional network established by an industry-leading physician. USS has grown through making acquisitions, opening new locations and offering additional services.
