Tonka Bay Equity Partners promotes Slominski to director
Tonka Bay Equity Partners LLC (“Tonka Bay”), a leading private equity investment firm focused on acquiring and investing in small and mid-sized sized companies, announced that Shane Slominski has been promoted to Director. Slominski joined Tonka Bay as a Senior Associate in January, 2006. He is responsible for evaluating potential investments, coordinating due diligence and supporting the closing of the firm’s buyout activities. In addition, he works closely with the management of portfolio companies and is responsible for limited partner and regulatory reporting. Slominski was part of the deal teams that executed successful investments in Accu-Mold LLC, All-Flex, Inc., and Circuit Check, Inc.
Prior to joining Tonka Bay, Slominski was a manager in the Minneapolis office of the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP. Slominski earned his B.B.A degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA).
