Before joining Tonka Bay in 2005, Steve was on the buyout team at Norwest Equity Partners focusing on late stage, early stage and growth capital equity investments. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in Chicago and Minneapolis within the Economic and Financial Consulting practice. Steve holds a degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
Personal
My ideal vacation: Being in the mountains, summer or winter — golfing, fishing, hiking and skiing with my wife and four kids.
My favorite sports teams: Notre Dame Fighting Irish + Minnesota Twins & Wild.
My first concert: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (but I love country music).
Someone I admire: My dad. He taught me the value of hard work, education, and maintaining deep personal relationships.
